Have you taken the Lead Renovator training class, but you're still not sure where to start for your first lead-safe RRP job? We have developed the RRP Project Binder to help you navigate the EPA's record-keeping requirements for your pre-1978 renovation or painting projects.
The RRP Project Binder & Tutorial is the essential tool for compiling and retaining all required documents to be in compliance with the EPA Renovation Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule (40 CFR Part 745). It is recommended that you keep the RRP Project Binder on-site for the duration of the renovation project. The RRP Project Binder should also be retained after the completion of the project for a period of three years, to be made accessible to the EPA in the event of a record-keeping audit.
The following forms are incorporated into the Project Binder:
The Environmental Protection Agency has begun enforcement of lead-related issues within the residential construction industry. Reports of violations and fines are being released constantly. The primary violation against renovation firms is non-compliance of required RRP paperwork. Keep in mind, the maximum fine for non-compliance with the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule is $37,500, so order your RRP Project Binder today!
