This book has been prepared under the supervision of a specially assembled AGC task force, who worked closely with the author, Tom Glavinich, to prepare the first guide to green building written specifically for contractors and builders. Taking a broad view of the various competing Green standards, the book avoids endorsing any single standard. Through real-world case studies and interviews with construction managers, the book provides a practical manual for successfully managing construction projects in this new and growing area of commercial construction.
