Approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the new RRP regulations, the 40-swab lead testing kit from LeadCheck® provides the lead testing swabs you have been looking for!
LeadCheck® lead testing swabs are non-hazardous and provide a rapid and specific lead test for any surface. This lead testing kit is the perfect match for all your renovation projects. How will you know if lead is present? It’s simple; the LeadCheck® swab will turn pink or red on contact with the surface being tested if lead is detected. The time it takes for the color change to occur will vary depending upon the concentration of lead present, but most test situations will produce results in less than 30 seconds. When detecting low levels of lead, or lead chromate containing pigments, the lead testing results may take slightly longer to develop. Each LeadCheck® kit contains test confirmation cards to verify individual test results and swab functionality.
Since their introduction in 1992, LeadCheck® Swabs have been used to detect lead under a wide variety of field conditions. Recognized by the EPA for superior accuracy and sensitivity, LeadCheck® Swabs have outperformed other lead screening methods in every single government evaluation conducted over the past 15 years.
